I believe drinking sweetened beverages is something we learn…at a young age. I know I did. Slowly but surely I drank more and more soda…then diet soda. It was sugar free – so not bad for you, right? I can’t fault my parents…no one knew any better back then. We know better now. I found this article disturbing… have to share. It’s from Harvard… so I trust it. |
Key take away… Beverage companies spend billions of dollars marketing carbonated beverages, with a significant portion of marketing aimed directly at youth ages 2–17. |

Really? And then there is this… |
Some studies have suggested sugar is as addictive as cocaine. People often enjoy the dopamine release sugar brings. However, due to the addictive nature of sugar, long-term health effects like obesity and diabetes are as a risk of sugar overindulgence. |

Most agree diet soda isn’t any better than regular soda for us. What do you think? |
If you are like most people, you find it hard to drink enough water. For many, plain water can be plain boring.
Some women drink bubbly water. It’s cheap. Some like the taste. If you do, ask yourself “After a can of bubbles, are you still thirsty?” So many women tell me – they drink 2-3 cans of bubbly water and they are still thirsty. FYI – your body may be craving electrolytes.
craftwater breaks up the monotony (the flavors are addictive) and the electrolytes are hydrating.
Bonus is that you aren’t drinking a sweetened beverage – so you are not fueling your sweet tooth. I know – it’s amazing.
Enjoy a craftwater a day. After all, you deserve it.
Being well hydrated removes toxins, and cushions joints. But, what else?
Trying to lose weight?
Drinking water can boost your body’s ability to burn fat. A study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism found that drinking water (about 17oz) increases metabolic rate by 30 percent in healthy men and women. The boost occurred within 10 minutes but reached a maximum 30-40 minutes after drinking.
Studies also suggest that drinking one or two glasses of water before a meal can fill you up so you naturally eat less, says Andrea N. Giancoli, MPH, RD spokesperson for The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Plus, even mild dehydration will slow down metabolism by as much as 3 percent. (source)
Not drinking enough water, exercising and drinking alcohol depletes electrolytes and can cause dehydration. |
Even when you drink plenty of plain water, if electrolytes aren’t replenished, you may still be dehydrated. CraftWater replenishes key electrolytes. Rehydrate & Rejuvenate. You’ll love how it makes you feel! |
Now you know! |
There are about a million reasons to be well hydrated…and not one (that I can think of) against it.
If you are having trouble drinking enough water – or still don’t feel well hydrated after drinking plain or bubbly water – your body many be telling you to really hydrate (fluids + electrolytes).
Think craftwater. You deserve it.
