I came across a fascinating article highlighting PepsiCo’s emphasis on delivering products aligned with customer desires, whether it’s functionality, health and wellness, or indulgence.

At WaterFix, we firmly believe you shouldn’t be limited to just one. With WaterFix, you can enjoy all three aspects seamlessly.

Love the Outdoors? Keep hydrated.

Enjoying the outdoors, especially by the pool, on days like today is fantastic.

However, be cautious about electrolyte loss and dehydration due to sweating in hot weather. Symptoms may include heat cramps in your calf muscles, quadriceps, or hamstrings, heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, headaches, and fatigue.

To prevent dehydration, proactively consume fluids and electrolytes. Keep in mind that while sports drinks replace essential electrolytes and fluids, they often contain significant amounts of processed or artificial sugars.

WaterFix, on the other hand, replenishes vital electrolytes without any added sugar or sweeteners. It simply doesn’t need them.

Crazy Busy?

Let’s face it. All of us are crazy busy. Work, family, friends, volunteer
commitments, and hopefully a workout more often than not. The more
we do – the less we focus on things that are good for us…like staying well hydrated.

Ok – most of us get in a glass or 2 of water. But more of us are grabbing
coffee or soda to get us through the afternoon. Truth be told – you may
just be dehydrated.

At craftwater, we believe your beverages should support your busy
lifestyle. Right?

That’s why we crafted your ideal hydration beverage – the perfect blend
of amazing flavors and key electrolytes, without a sweetener. Awesome, we know.
So, craftwater is for you…if you want to
–Skip soda or sweetened beverages
–Hydrate well after a workout
–Or simply drink more water

For years I just didn’t care.

For years I just didn’t care. I drank a ton of soda – Diet Mountain Dew was my vice – and I loved it. Family, friends, colleagues…all constantly told me how bad it was for me. Intellectually I knew it. But I didn’t have a replacement.

I didn’t like tea. Plain water got boring after a glass or two. And…by the middle of the afternoon I needed the caffeine boost to get me through the day. The Dew to the rescue.

Fast forward to 3ish years ago – I gave up the Dew cold turkey. It was really hard for a few weeks. Really hard. I still didn’t have a replacement – but knew I needed to give up the Dew. Today I realize my afternoon fatigue was dehydration.

Fatigue is a symptom of dehydration. I still have coffee in the am – love it. But I also hydrate first thing in the am, and throughout the afternoon. Weaving in craftwater, I believe, helps my regular water work harder for my body and eliminates the afternoon fatigue. And.. I feel better. No caffeine crash.

For those you who hydrate and get on with your day…cheers to you!

Why did I (a mom from the Chicago suburbs) jump into the highly competitive beverage industry? Crazy I know.

Here’s why.

Daily Self-care – or – a Treat?

Do you think of craftwater as daily self-care – or – a treat?

I hear both from women as I deliver their monthly subscription.

No matter how you think about craftwater – please know we can make it easy to enjoy craftwater however you want!

I believe drinking sweetened beverages is something we learn

I believe drinking sweetened beverages is something we learn…at a
young age.

I know I did. Slowly but surely I drank more and more soda…then diet
soda. It was sugar free – so not bad for you, right?

I can’t fault my parents…no one knew any better back then.

We know better now.

I found this article disturbing… have to share. It’s from Harvard… so I
trust it.
Key take away…
Beverage companies spend billions of dollars marketing carbonated
beverages, with a significant portion of marketing aimed directly at
youth ages 2–17.

And then there is this…
Some studies have suggested sugar is as addictive as cocaine. People
often enjoy the dopamine release sugar brings. However, due to the
addictive nature of sugar, long-term health effects like obesity and
diabetes are as a risk of sugar overindulgence.
Most agree diet soda isn’t any better than regular soda for us.

What do you think?
